Sean Murphy
Advisor to Structured Capital
Sean Murphy is an advisor to the Structured Capital investment team. From 2016 to 2024, Sean was a member of the Structured Capital investment team, most recently as a partner and co-head. Prior to joining Harvest, Sean was a Managing Director with Angelo, Gordon & Co., where he focused on sourcing and completing private equity transactions in the Consumer / Retail, Business Services and Financial Services Industries. Prior to Angelo, Gordon & Co., Sean was an Associate at Bear Growth Capital Partners, an affiliate of Bear Stearns Merchant Banking. He began his career as an Analyst at both Bear Growth Capital Partners and the investment banking division of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. He has a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University.
